South Ayrshire Council (Various Roads, Dailly) (20mph & 30mph Speed Limit) (Amendments & Revocations) Order 2022
(Ayrshire Roads Alliance) A Partnership between East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council as partner Local Authorities for the Ayrshire Local Plan District, advise The Order which comes into force on Thursday 5 May 2022 was advertised in the Carrick Gazette Post on 12 August 2020 and the effect of the Order is as stated in said notice that being to implement new speed limits on the following lengths of road:
20mph Speed Limit
B741 Bridge Street: From the east side of the bridge deck of Dailly Bridge westwards for 68 metres.
C30 Eldinton Terrace: From 52 metres north of Linfern Road southwards for 761 metres.
Back Road - entire length
Bridge Street - entire length
Church Crescent - entire length
Greenhead Street - entire length
Hadyard Terrace - entire length
Hazelwood Avenue - entire length
Linfern Road - entire length
The Loaning - entire length
Victory Crescent - entire length
Wood Street - entire length
Woodside - entire length
West End - entire length
Main Street - entire length
30mph Speed Limit
B741 Back Road: From 52 metres north of Linfern Road northwards for 111 metres.
B741 Bridge Street: From 68 metres west of the east side of the Dailly bridge deck, westwards for 78 metres. C30: From 25 metres south of Woodside southwards for 75 metres.
Gateways, traffic calming measures and road markings should assist in making the speed limit’s self-enforcing.
