FAQ's

How do i claim my 2 free hours?

When you arrive at the on-street Pay & Display Bay, you can use the bay for free for up to two hours. When you return, remove your vehicle, and do not return to that location within one hour, this ensures there is a good turnover of spaces.

In the future new ticketless machines will be installed known as Pay by Plate parking machines, once these manchines have been installed you will have to register your vehicle details to take advantage of the two hours free parking.

When should i purchase a ticket?

Once you have parked for free, you can return to your vehicle and move to another Pay & Display location and also park there for free, as long as you are still within your two hours.

If you do move your vehicle to a different Pay & Display Street on the same day, after your two hours has expired, you will need to purchase a ticket at the machine.
