East Ayrshire Council - A735, B769 and B778, Stewarton - 30 mph Speed Limit and Revocation

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make the above-named Order that would have the effect of permanently reducing the speed limit on the A735 Dunlop Road north of Stewarton to 30mph and the B778 Fenwick Road east of Stewarton to 30mph. 

These speed limits are currently signed on site by virtue of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.

 Town  Route  Effect Proposed new total length
 Stewarton  A735 Dunlop Road The existing temporary 30mph speed limit extension of 740m will be made permanent   1.5km
 Stewarton  B778 Fenwick Road The existing temporary 30mph speed limit extension of approximately 80m will be made permanent   0.98km

In addition it is proposed that the existing speed limits on A735 to Kilmaurs, B778 to Dalry and B769 to Kingsford will be included within this Order for completeness. 

There will be no change to the signed extents of any speed limits in Stewarton.
