Findings -

No correspondence was received during the consultation period. A report will be presented to South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel on Tuesday 25th June at 10:00am at County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1DR. A link to the report will be provided here once it is published by South Ayrshire Council nearer to the time of the Regulatory Panel meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend but are not permitted to make a representation.

Final preparations for signing and lining are underway and the new Traffic Regulation Order is expected to come into force in January 2020.

Findings -

All correspondence received during the consultation period has been recorded and considered and is being collated collectively into a report which will be presented to South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel on Tuesday 25th June at 10:00am at County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1DR. A link to the report will be provided here once it is published by South Ayrshire Council nearer to the time of the Regulatory Panel meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend but are not permitted to make a representation.

The Regulatory Panel meeting of 25th June 2019 Decided: to refuse to make the above Order and to note that officers would bring back these proposals as a wider strategy to a meeting of the Leadership Panel.

 East Ayrshire Council Proposed Installation of Road Humps - Dallowie-Road, Patna 02/08/2019

Findings -   

One letter of objection was received during the consultation period.  The issues raised have been addressed and the objection has not been maintained.  The scheme will now progress to the detailed design and construction stage.  We are aiming to start works on site in November, but works are weather and resource dependant.

Findings -

The Regulatory Panel meeting of 14th November 2019 following questions and clarification on the enforcement of this Order, decided to approve the making of the Traffic Regulation Order.

 

 

Prestwick

 Town of Prestwick Waiting Restrictions           04/12/2019

Findings -

A high level of correspondence including objections that will be maintained and alternative suggestions have been received concerning the Station Drive and Links Road proposals with concerns expressed by residents from nearby Mansewell Road, Midton Road, Mongomerie Road and Templerigg Street.

No comments were received concerning St. Quivox Road and other correspondence concerned Prestwick parking in general. Each area of concern will be looked at again and in due course those findings will be included in a report for the consideration of South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel.

 

 

 

Traffic Regulation Orders

A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is a legal order. They are made in order to control the flow of traffic and make sure that people park safely and conveniently. TROs are required for many different restrictions, including:

TRAFFIC ORDERS
 Waiting and loading
 One-way streets 
 Speed limits
 Weight and width restrictions 
 Access and turning restrictions 
 Road and footway closures
 Cycle and bus lanes
