East Ayrshire Council proposed toucan crossing, B7081, Kilmarnock Road, Crosshouse and proposed puffin crossing, B7081, Irvine Road, Kilmarnock.
Findings -
No objections were received to either proposal. Works to construct the proposed puffin crossing will be included in a resurfacing scheme for Irvine Road, which will be undertaken in early 2021. Works to construct the proposed Toucan Crossing will be undertaken as part of the Crosshouse-Kilmarnock Cycle Scheme. Detailed design work for this scheme is on-going

South Ayrshire Council - Barrhill 20mph and 30mph Speed Limit Amendments and Revocations
Findings -
Two emailed representations were received from residents of the hamlet of Scaurrhead requesting that the 30 mph restriction be extended to include Scaurrhead. Neither can be considered as a maintained objection due to the legislation which prevent any proposals, once advertised, from be made more stringent, without re-starting the entire process. The writers have been advised accordingly.
A report will now be written for determination at a future meeting of South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel.

One emailed representation was received from Police Scotland concerning the absence of any built measures, but if constructed, they would likely achieve the desired road safety effect and in turn minimise complaints of non-compliance and requests for police enforcement.

Findings -
No correspondence was received during the consultation period. A report will be presented to South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel on Tuesday 25th June at 10:00am at County Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr KA7 1DR. A link to the report will be provided here once it is published by South Ayrshire Council nearer to the time of the Regulatory Panel meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend but are not permitted to make a representation.
Final preparations for signing and lining are underway and the new Traffic Regulation Order is expected to come into force in January 2020.

Proposed installation of speed tables in Prestwick
Findings -
Public Consultation around the Speed Tables has now been completed with no objections being received. The Ayrshire Roads Alliance has confirmed that they will now be installed during April before which they will contact residents individually to provide more details on the timetable for each affected street. Once installed these speed tables will reduce the flood risk to a number of properties in Prestwick.
